Dr. Kumarini Abeyweera

Dr. Kumarini Abeyweera is a dedicated medical professional with a strong background in patient-centered care. She obtained her MBBS degree from the University of Colombo and completed her Diploma in Family Medicine (DFM) at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo, in 2018.

Currently serving in the Pathology (Chemical Pathology) Unit at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka (NHSL), she plays a vital role in diagnostic services and clinical interpretation.

Dr. Abeyweera is deeply passionate about family medicine and nutrition, and she strives to promote holistic, preventive healthcare. At Nutrinex Clinic, she aims to integrate her expertise in family medicine and medical diagnostics into lifestyle medicine–based treatments, empowering patients to achieve better health through evidence-based, personalized lifestyle interventions.
